DSD Delivery Pre Trip Activities


Pre Trip Tasks are activities you need to perform before you leave the depot


Delivery Plan

The Delivery Plan button will show the list of customers who have a drop ready for the day. Customers are shown in order of delivery, so the first customers are at the TOP of the list, last are at the BOTTOM. Tapping on a customer in the list will give their details such as Address and Phone number. You will also be able to map out a route to take from customer to customer.


Inspections

This is a set of questions for the driver to complete before you leave the depot. 


Load Orders

Orders, or inventory needs to be loaded before you leave the depot so that you have stock to deliver.  This provides a reconciliation point between what the warehouse picked for the trip and what was loaded onto the truck


Load Containers

Containers are reusable items like bread and milk crates that can be tracked separately 


Once all mandatory Pre-Trip tasks have been completed you should select COMPLETED to advance to the On-Route activities where you will make your deliveries
