Unleashed Integration



DSD Assist can be connected to Unleashed using our standard connector.  The integration allows clients to use of DSD Connect Portal to plan their delivery trucks and DSD Delivery mobile application to obtain a Proof of Delivery.  We extract deliveries and use the Unleashed field Promised Date as the delivery date


Extracting Data from Unleashed

Customers and Products are extracted once each day on a schedule to form master data in our Portal.  Orders, Shipments or Invoices are extracted using our “Get Latest Orders” button on our Trip Planning screen so they can be retrieved on demand at a time the suits the business.  


Integration Settings

Within our Integrations menu option the Unleashed integration needs to be configured for your business


API ID and API KEY

These can be obtained from within Unleashed on the  Integration / Unleashed API Access menu

Create All Trips and Dflt Delivery Trip

In our Portal all deliveries will be placed on the Dflt Delivery Trip and if you have more than 1 truck you can then move them between trucks.  If you have more than 1 truck set Create All Trips to Yes so that the other delivery runs are created to allow you to move deliveries to the other runs

Delivery Method

When creating a Sales order in Unleashed you can set the Delivery Method.  If the order is to be delivered by your own fleet of vehicles, as opposed to a freight carrier, then whatever you use as the delivery method should be entered here.  In our example we have used “Own Truck” as the Delivery Method 

Extract Orders

This should be set to Yes

Extract Orders From and Extract Orders To

From now this is the number of days ahead we are going to look for the Promised Date of deliveries.  If you plan today for deliveries tomorrow then the From value should be 1.  If you plan on Friday for deliveries on Monday then the To day will need to be 3.  To cover long weekends this might need to be even longer

Orders to Extract

In Unleashed a Sales Order passes through a number of different Status’.  Depending on your business you may wish to extract Sales Orders, Shipments or Invoices from Unleashed to the DSD Portal.  Allowed values are SalesOrder, SalesShippment or SalesInvoice
