Stocktake a Vehicle


Using DSD Van Sales a driver can stocktake their truck.  A Stock take report is generated from the process and the vehicle inventory is updated at the end of the process.  



The stocktake function will need to be enabled by DSD Assist support before you can use the function


To perform a stocktake

  • Select Vehicle Inventory



  • Select the stocktake icon at the bottom of the screen



  • It is a blind count so all items are shown with a quantity of 0



  • Select an item and enter the quantity on the truck

Press Done once completed


  • The stocktake will reset the vehicle inventory to the quantities entered.  If there are items with a count of zero a warning message is displayed in case they have been missed in error


  • The user should then sign and print the summary report as they do for other inventory functions
