DSD Salesforce Optimisation
Using DSD Salesforce a sales rep can create an optimised visit plan for the day. To configure and use this function
- Have the DSD Assist team enable optimisation for the sales reps by enabling the Mobile App setting ROUTIFICAPI
- Optimisation on the ipad can operate from and to the sales rep’s home, the office, the current location or a specific customer
- To set the sales rep’s home location, in the DSD Connect Portal
- Navigate to Data Maintenance and Description
- Select Route Number and select the sales rep to edit
- Add the gps location for the sales rep’s home
- Save
- To set the Depot or Office location, in the DSD Connect Portal
- Navigate to Data Maintenance and Description
- Select Distribution Centre and select the location to edit
- Add the gps location for depot
- Save
- On the ipad an optimisation icon will be displayed below the customers to visit today
- Taping this icon will allow the sales rep to select the starting and ending locations for the optimisation
- Once optimised the expected arrival time at each customer is displayed
