DSD Connect – Create and Distribute Surveys

Create Survey

Surveys are used in DSD Connect to capture information required by the business. There are several survey types that can be dynamically added to the DSD Mobile applications.

Create and Distribute Survey Details

  1. Add a Survey Header 
  2. Add Survey Questions and Response Types
  3. Distribute Survey to Customers

Add a New Survey Procedure

Survey Maintananace


Use the [Add] button to add a new survey


Survey Header


Enter the details to create the Survey Header and use [Save] to create the Survey


Survey Question



Use the [Add Question] button to add questions to the survey. 


Select the Response Type for the question, being 

Yes / No

Numeric

Alpha Numeric 

Price

Photograph

Signature

List Selection

Multi List Selection

Barcode

Date

Use [Save] to add the questions


Distribute Survey to Customers

Distribution to Customers



Enter the details to create the Survey Header and use [Save] to create the Survey


Distribution Header



Use the [Add] button to add a new distribution rule for the survey.

Enter the details to create the survey distribution rule and use [Save] to create the survey.


Select Customers



Select the customers from the Available Customers that the survey is to be distributed to 


Use the Filters to reduce the set of customers and [Select All] button to add the customers to the Selected Customers.


Use [Save] to create the distribution list.

Survey Types can be maintained in Descriptions 

Reserved Survey Types

  1. Pre Trip Inspection     Survey Type 99
  2. Post Trip Inspection    Survey Type 98
  3. General survey Types     Survey Type 10 – 90
