Configuring STRIPE Payment Gateway
To configure the STRIPE payments gateway in DSD Assist you firstly need to have a STRIPE account. Navigate to https://stripe.com/ and create an account
Having created an account you will need to share your api keys with the DSD Assist support team so that we can add them into your configuration. There are 2 keys we need, the Publishable key and the Secret key. They can be found on the STRIPE portal here
We will also set the CARDPROC setting to 8 to enable the STRIPE gateway integration within our applications
With these settings in place your mobile workers will now be able to accept credit cards from customers, save credit card details for customers, and use saved credit cards to make payments.
Our recommendation would be to add to the terms and conditions you have with your customers that card details might be saved and used to make payments for invoices
