Acumatica / MYOB Advanced Integration
Two customisations need to be added to the ERP system to load the Generic Inquiry we require and to extend the endpoints of the api’s to contain the fields we need. Contact DSD Assist to obtain these customisations. They can be loaded and published using the Configuration / Customisation menu option in the ERP.
Within the ERP we use the Shipping Zone ID field on the Delivery Settings Tab of the Customer to assign customers to default Delivery Trips. Set this to 99 if you wish to make the allocation of customer orders to delivery trips manually else set it to the default trip that this customer is delivered by
Because our system and the ERP are configurable we require a number of settings to allow the integration to work properly. In general these will be set once when the integration is first established. These can be set in the DSD Connect Portal using the Administration Integrations functions and selecting the Acumatica / MYOB Advanced Integration
These values are used to indicate whether these fields are set to Alphabetic or Numeric values in the ERP

- Customer and Product master information is extracted from the ERP once each day, typically in the evening
- In the DSD Connect Portal, on the Trip Planning screen use the Get Latest Orders button to reach out to the ERP and extract orders. Orders are placed onto delivery trips based on the Scheduled Shipping Date and the Shipping Zone ID.
- The Integration Setting DaysAhead is used to determine how many planned shipping days ahead we look for orders to extract. If you plan in the afternoon for delivery tomorrow then set this to 1. If you plan on a Friday for Monday deliveries then set this to 3. If you plan in the morning to delivery the same day then set this to 0. Note: we look for less than or equal the DaysAhead value
- You should edit the Generic Inquiry called DSD Get Latest Orders if you wish to amend the criteria of the Inquiry (for example to look at Invoices or Shipments). Providing the output columns are not changed you can make any changes you wish to this Inquiry
- After a delivery is made by your driver the Proof of Delivery Document including the signature from the customer and / or a photograph of the goods is loaded into the ERP against the original order / shipment / invoice. This can be viewed in the Files tab of the source document
