Accessing Cloud based Document Storage


Accessing Cloud based Document Storage from DSD SalesforceDSD Van Sales or DSD Delivery is now supported.  The supported cloud storage applications are DropboxBoxMicrosoft OneDrive and Google Drive

To Enable this function

  • In the DSD Connect Portal navigate to Data Maintenance and Mobile App Settings.  If you do not have access to this contact our Support Team
  • For the Application you are using you will need to add an entry called DOCUMENTS
  • For DSD Van Sales and DSD Delivery the value should be

Dropbox                                              com.dropbox.android

Box                                                        com.box.android

OneDrive/SkypeDrive                 com.microsoft.skydrive

Google Drive                                   com.google.android.apps.docs

  • For DSD Salesforce the value should be

Dropbox                                               dbapi-1://app

Box                                                          box://app

OneDrive/SkypeDrive                   ms-onedrive://app

Google Drive                                      googledrive://app


  • Install the application for the cloud storage service you are using from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store onto the mobile devices.  If the user selects the menu option to access the cloud storage service and the application is not installed they will be prompted to install it 
  • In the drop down menu within the DSD Mobile Applications in the top right corner of the screen (signified by the 3 horizontal lines) there will be a new menu item added for your cloud storage service
